Forum Status Update
I’ve received a couple messages asking for a status update on the forum, so I’m doing this blog post.
Basically the short answer is we’re doing some testing with a couple moderators to make sure permissions and other functions are working properly for them before we roll it out publicly.
Aaron and I like to do a lot of testing to make sure things are good before rolling them out on the live site. Bugs and issues are not fun to fix in a live environment with tons of traffic.
I still need to reply back to a few people who want to be moderators who sent in messages. I’ll work on that today.

Hope you’re able to iron things out soon. Looking forward to the forum. It’ll be good to have a place to hang out and exchange notes and information again.
Hopefully this weekend is the last of our development testing and then we can roll out the forum for everyone.

Hmmm, seems like I’ve found the newest reincarnation of OSWD. What a suprise that none other than Sean R. is leading the open source charge! Every time this community tries to go under, Sean throws it a life preserver…
