Yeah, GFWD is nearly dead. There seems to be a new owner, but he doesn't approve designs. I wrote him weeks ago, but I got no response. Many members of GFWD are sad about the situation. And again a community was killed by selling the site as many before.

Agreed… Sad to see it go down the tubes. I had no idea that the site had been sold, either.
I looked forward to coming here, every day, anxiously looking for the new crop of designs that some very bright minds came up with, and were gracious enough to share with the rest of us.
I've learned a great deal by picking apart the templates and designs here, and just recently started contributing back some layouts myself. There are even three in the queue waiting approval.
If the new owner doesn't have any interest in maintaining the site, is their interest in getting another one going? Or has three (or is it four?) sites down the tubes soured everyone on keeping the community going?

Sean sold the site to Clinton and Clinton in turn auctioned the site off to a new owner that has not yet revealed him/her self.

So at least the new owner should talk to the community, but he doesn't care.
Clinton bought GFWD for profit and sold it for profit as well as the new owner did and will do.
So GFWD has become a money making machine of down-and-dirty website dealers. Thanks guys!
It is sad but true…

If Sean knew Clinton was going to sell off the site like he did, he would not have brought him into the mix. About the sale, Sean nor Aaron saw any of the money he sold it for… and at this point I'm not even sure if he's been paid for it.

I'm still in contact with Sean and he is also upset about the situation of GFWD. He is a honest guy and his hands are tied. It's in no way his fault…
