I'd like an option to see the threads with new posts since my last visit and an option to see the latest unanswered threads like IPB has or maybe a list with the latest active posts like here was on OD.

So would I, sometimes I don't remember which posts I have read and it is a pain to pull up ones which have no new content.

There is a different icon that specifies which topics have new posts.

As Bob mentioned, there is a little icon that turns red when there are unread posts in topics or posts. This only shows up of course when you are logged into your account. For guest users or members not logged in, you won't see it.
I've also added drop downs with the ability to see new/recently updated topics and you can also select a specific forum. The first shows the most recent topics to receive new posts and the second offers links to all of the defined forums.

Yes I saw that after I logged in, but it's not as clear as the "other site's" forum. I guess it is just a matter of getting used to a new interface.
P.S. The mathematical challenge is also a pain, sometimes I don't have enough fingers I know why it's there though…

We are still fine tuning the forum, so things should improve over the next couple of weeks.
As for using your fingers to count, hehe, why not use the calculator on your computer? I know Windows has a calculator program
Also, where are you seeing the math question? I thought we had removed all references of that.

@Virtual: The math question is now gone, so your fingers can relax
I figured since members have to be logged in to post or comment, we don't need the math question, however if we start getting some spam commenting because of not having it, I'll be turning it back on.

Much love to whoever's idea it was to put those jump menus at the top
The New/Recently Updated Topics menu is awesome.
