my website cssheaven.org had a google PR of 4 but they dropped it to 0 all of a sudden.  does anyone know why these things happen ?  i am not currently selling links. all the external links are nofollow and I don't even have ads on my website.

read somewhere that it might be temporary. but how do we make sure that is is ?

It's probably temporary. Most likely there is some updating going on with Google. Your other site http://roshanravi.com is currently also has a PR-0.

that one has been 0 all this time.  its a very new domain and no website is linking to it.

I do hope it is temporary.  it seems to be appearing on google as it is supposed to be for the main keywords.  Smile

I just check one of my sites, odcms.net, and it is now has a PR-0 also. I think it has a PR-4 at one time, same of wfiedler's site odcms.org. His is still PR-4. I wouldn't worry about it since we cannot tell almighty Google how to run the internet. Have you seen the new Google search? It's like someone always telling what you're saying without you finishing it, very annoying but we have to get use to it.Yell

It would appear that some pages lose PR just because they haven't acquired any recent inlinks. I have no evidence for this, and this is not how PR is meant to work, but trying getting a few links (even from PR0 pages) and you may find your old PR restored.

@tom, very true.  i usually search using the search option from the browser. but the new google is quiet annoying.

@Admin, thanks. I submitted my website for reconsideration. funny thing is it lost the PR just as I was getting more inbound links. some of my recent templates were featured in Noupe and I was having a lot of visitors recently.

Confused

but, anyway.. my traffic hasn't dropped that much.
