Hi there,

If you didn't know already, I sold RamblingSoul.com last year. and have been blogless for a while.. I am currently working on a similar website. http://www.cssheaven.org/; I am just testing the design.  any feedback on design and suggestions for improvement are highly appreciated :)

will be releasing few templates very soon.

I second that.

I can set up a site to showcase your designs using odCMS if you are interested Wink

Thank you guys.

@tom,  I am definitely interested. I also thought about releasing cms themes in the website. WordPress was the obvious choice, but  it is a bit of work to get a fully functional wp theme especially with my kind of design. if you port to odCMS, i will put them in my website too :)

Great! With odCMS you not only able to release themes converted from your designs but you can also create sites using the themes. You can host those sites in your server or package them for your customers. I will convert some of your designs and let you see how this work. I'll let you know when done. Have a nice weekend.

Wow! that was very fast :)

I didn't realize that you were porting the cssheaven design. i actually did the whole site in wordpress.  What I would rather like is to have my templates ported so that i can have a section in the website for OD CMS themes. It will be a good addition to css templaes and also a good promotion for OD CMS.  Sorry about the confusion. I can see that you did a great job in porting it. it looks fantastic.. so, I am confused if i should use OD CMS or stick with wordpress.

I did install some plugins like SEO Ultimate, morefields and a bunch of others to make the uploading and approval automated. If it is a lot of work to do all these, please don't bother about it. We can work on releasing some nice templates for ODCMS.

What do you say ?

I simply converted your designs into templates and added the pages and contents from your site. I understand WP will provide more features for websites construction but if your site is not too complex it can easily be built using odCMS. You can continue to build your site using WP and I will see if it can be done using odCMS. This way we can add features into odCMS that might benefit people who wish to use them.

In order to install odCMS your server must be running on PHP5 with SQLite enabled. If you meet the requirement then install it from the copy in Google Project Hosting then update it with the one here. Your site should be all set once that is done. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Note that the password is the same as the username.
